All things acne part 2: Face mapping

One of my biggest skincare concerns is that I always seem to have acne on my chin, whether it’s one small whitehead or a cystic outbreak. No matter how many or how little products I use or what my sugar intake is, there is always something. I’ve managed to control this, but not have it disappear completely. So why is that? Why do we consistently get acne on the same spot recurring? According to the concept of face mapping, this may be due to an underlying health problem. There are several different types of face mapping procedures or mien shiang as its originating name, which is an ancient technique of face reading, viewing the face as a means of organ health, in the same way certain people do with reflexology in feet. However, for the purpose of this article, our focus will be on acne face mapping, which takes a slight turn from the original Chinese belief and is more scientific orientated.

This technique splits the face into zones as shown below, each with their own chartered issues on lifestyle or medical orientated acne triggers

This is just an example form, there are more detailed factors involved as well, by splitting the face into further sections, you can get an even better idea on what to do and change in order to improve your skin, I have outlined the causes;
